Denver Summit Archers is a JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) Team just ten miles North of Denver founded by our head coach Luis (Louie) Iglesias
Practices for the JOAD team are held every Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. and Fridays at 6 p.m.

Meet Coach Luis Iglesias
I was born and raised in New York. I attended Augusta Military Academy in Fort Defiance Virginia graduated and attended St. John’s University in New York. Upon graduation I moved to Miami Florida where I joined the Miami Police Department and retired in 2003. Having a passion for skiing my wife and I decided to move to Colorado in 2014. I got into archery one year later and immediately got hooked. I got my Level one and Level two USA Archery Instructors certification in 2019. I coached at a local archery range and in 2020 I started to coach at No Limits Archery Range under my mentor Tim Herrera. In 2022 I got my Level three USA Archery coach certification also in 2022 I also received my Instructor Trainer certification.

Meet Coach Brian Kidwell
I was born and raised in eastern Iowa. I am a graduate of Iowa State University with a B.S. in Sociology/Criminal Justice Studies with minors in English and Psychology. I am a veteran of the United States Army and am currently retired from 20+ years of law enforcement.
I have been coaching youth sports since 2006, including baseball, softball, t-ball lacrosse, cross country, and most recently archery. I am a Level 2 USA Archery Instructor and have been coaching since 2021. I began shooting barebow archery in 1983 and have been shooting Compound archery since 1985. I currently compete in 3D archery and travel the A.S.A. 3D Circuit throughout the country.
Meet Coach Bryan Johnson
Colorado native, I was raised in Golden. I’ve spent my life working as a mechanic and am currently the operations manager of a large public sector fleet. My coaching journey began with little league baseball and now continues through archery, where I proudly serve as a Level 2 USA Archery Instructor.
I’m passionate about all things target-related, from archery to long-range rifle shooting, and I believe in the discipline and focus these sports teach. Archery is a family passion—my daughter competes on the team, and I love helping others grow in the sport.

Meet Coach Yevgenii Kisarauskas
I was born in the Soviet Union and immigrated to Alaska when I was 10, lived there most of my life. I am a level 2 USA archery instructor and have won multiple state championships, NFFA sectionals, and hold a state record in the barebow division.
